Publication Ethics at the Journal of Inventive and Scientific Research Studies (JISRS)
Maintaining ethical standards is critical in scholarly publishing to ensure the integrity of the research process. At JISRS, we adhere to the following suggestive parameters & principles outlined by UGC to foster trust among authors, editors, reviewers, and readers.
Publication Decisions
The editor has the sole responsibility for deciding which manuscripts submitted to the journal will be published. These decisions are based on the manuscript’s significance, originality, and alignment with the journal’s scope. Legal considerations like copyright, plagiarism, and libel are also taken into account. Editors may consult reviewers or other editors when making decisions.
Fair Play
Editors evaluate submitted manuscripts based on intellectual content, without discrimination regarding race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, or political affiliation of the authors.
Confidentiality
Information regarding submitted manuscripts is treated as confidential and shared only with relevant stakeholders, including authors, reviewers, and publishers, as necessary.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Editors must not use unpublished information disclosed in submitted manuscripts for personal research without explicit permission from the authors.
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Peer reviewers play a critical role by providing constructive feedback to authors and assisting the editor in decision-making.
Promptness
Reviewers who are unable to review a manuscript promptly or lack expertise in the subject should inform the editor and withdraw from the review process.
Confidentiality

Standards of Objectivity
Reviews should be unbiased and supported by clear arguments. Personal criticism of the author is unacceptable.

Privileged information obtained through peer review must not be used for personal advantage. Reviewers must avoid reviewing manuscripts with conflicts of interest.
Reporting Standards

Authors should retain and, if necessary, provide raw data related to their research for editorial review.
Originality and Plagiarism
